A Hidden Gem That Deserves Michelin Recognition I recently had the pleasure of dining at this remarkable restaurant during a business trip, and I can confidently say it was an experience worth writing about. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel like a truly appreciated guest—not just another customer. The service was warm, attentive, and professional without ever feeling intrusive. The food? Simply outstanding. Every dish was a thoughtful combination of flavor, presentation, and quality. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve, and it shows in every bite. Whether you’re in the mood for something adventurous or classic, the menu delivers with elegance and precision. If you’re in town, this place is an absolute must. I was honestly surprised not to see any Michelin stars displayed, because if they haven’t earned them yet, they absolutely deserve to. This restaurant strikes the perfect balance between fine dining and genuine hospitality—something truly rare these days. Highly recommend it for business or leisure. I will definitely be returning.

I had the blackened shrimp scampi with a garden salad, and it was absolutely delicious! The shrimp were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, and the scampi sauce was rich, garlicky, and full of flavor. The pasta was cooked to perfection, soaking up all that buttery goodness. The garden salad was fresh and crisp, a perfect light complement to the meal. Everything was beautifully plated and tasted amazing. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a flavorful and satisfying dish! They also have the cleanest restrooms I’ve ever seen.

Excellent experience, value and view! Got there during happy hour and got half price apps and draws. They didn’t hold it against us that we were KSU alumni

Our experience at The Brazos Landing was excellent. Our food was delicious. The server was friendly and competent. Highly recommend the gator. One member of our party ordered the chicken fried steak and it was HUGE. She took home half of it! Great atmosphere because of its location on the river as well.

Came in for dinner and we were given the option to either sit inside or sit on the enclosed deck area. We chose to sit out on the enclosed deck area with the sun it was beautiful and warm. Nice part is on a nice warm day they can roll up the doors and have it be open. The staff was very friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. We were sat got to choose our own table with the hostess. Then right after being sat we were able to get a drink order in right away and an appetizer order. The staff was super attentive and made sure our drinks never went empty. The food came out fast and was delicious. We enjoyed our little dinner date on the river with the view. I would highly recommend trying this place out. They have plenty of selection for you to choose from.

Mid family restaurant. Third visit (we live 100mi away). Really enjoyed it again for a late lunch.

We had 60 people and less than 30 minutes notice. Over the phone, they assisted with our “reservations” and organized our appetizers and menu! The service was amazing and prompt. The food is always fresh and never frozen and you can tell! It was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend and will definitely return!

I had the pecan crusted catfish meunière…it was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the fish was good quality, and the flavor was wonderful. The green beans and polenta were also excellent. I can’t wait to go back and have it again. My wife had the shrimp and grits, which she loved, and my kids were equally happy with their shrimp po’boy and chicken tenders. Plus we had a good time tossing food to the turtles and catfish. Will definitely be back.
